Hi,
I am trying to connect the R20 camera with our Synology Surveillance station via ONVIF.
The Surveillance station discovers the R20 camera correctly but fails to connect (and also to get the technical details from the camera).
Tried also simple and even no password settings and port 8090 (mentioned in the manual).
The RTSP stream works fine but I would like to use a password protected access to the stream.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!
Dirk

Hi sir,
You can go to R20's web - Intercom - ONVIF to configure its username and password.
Then if users want to get the ONVIF video stream, they should enter the correct username and password.
Hope it will help you.
Thanks&Best regards.

Re: R20 ONVIF and Synology Surveillance Station
Hi,
thanks for the reply.
Yes I know that I can configure the ONVIF username/password (since I did it).
The problem is, that I cannot access the ONVIF stream with our Synology surveillance station solution (nor via the URL http://IP_address:8090/onvif/device_service given in the manual, of course I substituted <IP_address> with the actual IP address).
Thanks and regards!

Hello sir,
Could you please send us the PCAP file of the R20? The path is R20's web-Upgrade-Advanced-PCAP. Click" Start" and connect the onvif with the Synology surveillance, then click "Stop" and export the file.
Is the Synology surveillance a VMS? If so, it would be better if you can send us the Synology surveillance software for us to test.
Thanks&Best regards.
