Firmware Numbering Notation

Hi Akuvox

The latest firmware for R29 in the forums is this: R29 v2.0 Release version No:29.0.2.442.
My eval unit has this firmware: 29.1.1.232 on hardware version: 29.3.0

We dealt with Yealink near you guys in Xiamen (when they were just starting out) and they had a similar numbering style. 29 for model, n for partner, 2 for major release, nnn for minor version.

Anyways my question is... is your numbering like that? If so, is 29.0.2.442 newer than 29.1.1.232 and can we upload a 29.0 on an existing 29.1?
If not, where can we find 29.1.2.442 or similar?

Hi Richard,

29.0.x.xxx means that you are using standard Akuvox version. It is available on this forum.

For 29.1.x.xxx, it is not available for normal users because it is made to be another version for different people.

I don't want to be "different people". Can I go to .0 ?

Could the released versions on the forum meet your requirements?

Other versions cannot be accessed by normal user. We developed the 29.1.x.xxx for commercial purpose.

Sorry, i get your point now.
The only difference between 29.0.x.xxx and 29.1.x.xxx is 29.1 has Akuvox logo during startup while 29.0 doesn't.
We don't upload it to the forum because only a few customers need it.
And the latest firmware of 29.1.x.xxx will be sent to your email.
