Purpose of RS485

Hello,
there is a security-risk of connecting the door-open signal direct at the outdoor station. You can activate the door-opener much easier than opens the doorlock. And all with nearly no traces.
For this reasons and to connect the station to my home automation system, I'm searching on a possibility to get data from rfid-unit for instance to decide internal if access is granted.
In the product info You wrote about the integration in home automation or connect other RS458 devices. I'm looking for the all possibilities.

Hi Fabian,

that is also the reason, why I do not connect the door relais direct with the doorphone. But if you are using an automation system you can do it with the action url and over LAN. The logic is so placed in automation.

bekomme ich die Daten vom RFID-Leser zur weiteren Verarbeitung? Das Öffnen von innen ist mir jetzt klar, aber wie steht es mit öffnen von außen via RFID?

Hallo Fabian,

was setzt du denn für eine Hausautomation ein? Hast du vielleicht noch eine Plattform (Raspi oder so frei)?
Ich schicke die Action URL ( http://ip-iobroker:8087/set/javascript. ... e=$card_sn ) an die API vom iobroker ( http://www.iobroker.net/ ). Dort habe ich einen Datenpunkt angelegt, der mitbekommt sobald ein RFID Chip von der Station gemeldet wird. Es wird die Seriennummer des Chips übergeben.
Mit diesem Datenpunkt kann ich dann weiterarbeiten und den Türöffner der ebenfalls am iobroker hängt öffnen.
